when it's all said and done, how will he be remembered?
the same exact mixed opinions that he gets now
he won't :D:D:D
>>60334252
He won't be. His entire career is generating controversy to cover up his subpar musical talent. Notice how when he's not being a jackoff nobody's talking about him? In twenty years he won't even be a memory.
>>60334252
When he's dead he'll be remembered as one of the greatest like all artists are.
>>60334284
there's a dozen articles every time he wears a new outfit
i think it's safe to say the media isn't going to be done talking about him any time soon
>>60334284
Is MBDTF subpar in your opinion?
>>60334252
Just like Vanilla Ice
>>60334377
yes
>>60334377
It is compared Late Registration
lol have you guys heard his most recent feature
https://youtu.be/FcRBhlC3dq0?t=174
yes, that 3 seconds of 'singing' is the whole entire feature.
this is typical 2015 ye. he has fallen off so hard it's astonishing.
obviously his old stuff will be remembered fondly, he is without a doubt one of the best to ever do it, but he has gotten so lazy that i don't even want to know what the rest of his career has in store for us. it's going to be depressing.
unfortunately not as he should, Kanye west is one of the most influential artists of our time, but the negative press and public's opinion will tarnish his flawless legacy
Like any other mainstream rap artist, ie not remembered. He doesn't have respect from real hip hop fans, no nignogs bump yeezy anymore
>>60334444
The most non deserving quads ever
As the 46th President of the United States.
>>60334303
this desu
>>60334284
Any artist as popular as Kanye will be remembered, whether they deserve it or not. And Kanye will probably go down as an extremely influential and experimental figure in hip hop, if only because the types of people who get to write the narrative for these sorts of things think he is.
He's better than every "legendary rapper", Biggie, Tupac, Jay-Z, all of them.
And he'll be remembered that way.
People may hate him now, but when he dies he'll only be remembered fondly, like Michael Jackson.
>>60334428
>this is typical 2015 ye. he has fallen off so hard it's astonishing.
Did you not hear Smuckers?
>>60334587
it was ok
>>60334561
This, unfortunately
>>60334561
Do you not think he's been influential or am I reading you wrong?
what if he died tragically soon, how would he be remembered then?
GOAT
as the howard stern of music
controversial douche
talkin loud and ain't sayin nothing
can't wait for his "run for presidency"
>>60334252
He will be remembered as a pretty good artist. But will be over blown and looked at as a genius.
Funny how most Kanye fans hate dadrock bands like The Beatles.
But the truth is... Kanye is The Beatles of the 21st Century
>>60334561
>Any artist as popular as kanye will be remembered
>Literall when have you heard someone talking about The Who in the last 15 years
>>60335812
You seem to remember them, and they headlined Glastonbury just this year. Being remembered and being relevant are two different things.
>>60335130
Of course he has been, even if he's overrated.. My point is that the people who will dictate whether artists from this generation get remembered all love Kanye, so individual opinions about his music are irrelevant.
>>60334587
Smuckers was God-awful.
>>60334252
>how will he be remembered?
a media clown
a footnote in the kardashian social media shitshow
>>60334284
>when he's not being a jackoff nobody's talking about him
He has some pretty dope albums tbqh senpai
>>60336453
That's actually how he's seen here in the media in europe lol
>>60336555
(not true, by the way)
The David Bowie of our generation. Innovator and trendsetter.
>>60335735
>Funny how most Kanye fans hate dadrock bands like The Beatles.
>>>>>>>>>>>>implying
>>60336555
Happen in UK. He's basically the punch line of a joke everytime he's mentioned on news and comedy shows and stuff.
Yeezy taught me lol
>>60336623
lol
>>60336644
The UK loves him lol. He literally headlined the biggest festival in the UK and always has those interviews with Zane Lowe on Radio 1. Yeezus was also No. 1 in the UK charts.
>>60336697
no, we really don't. we have enough trashy grime to deal with ourselves
anyone could headline glastonbury and yeezus was released during a slow period in pop music.
>>60336697
>The UK loves him lol
bullshit
People will completely forget the "kanye is le douche" meme and remember him like John Lennon.
Yeezus will be considered his masterpiece and the new Dark Side of the Moon (With MBDTF being the new Wish You Were Here and College Dropout being the new Wall).
His praise will then annoy new generations of le right generation who laugh at old music and only listen to pop country and vaporchillcorepunk.
>>60336697
Kanye is fucking detested in the UK.
He has a hardcore fanbase in the hiphop obsessed areas of london, outside of that nobody actually gives a shit.
>>60336721
Oi m8 bollocks
>>60336716
>>60336721
Stop trying to impress the Americans. Graduation was No. 1 as well and most of his albums make the Top 15.
>>60336746
He's detested as much in the UK as he is anywhere else. He's a polarizing, but extremely popular celebrity/artist.
>>60334252
>how will he be remembered?
just another twitter celebrity and gossip whore
