I've listened to a few of their albums and the vocals don't work for me. If it was another language or she was just kind of hard to understand I would be fine.
When the women in Dirty Projectors make sounds that aren't actual words it doesn't bother me, I actually like it, for example.
Fraser just says random words and my brain expects them to be real words and that I can extrapolate something from it, but it's just gibberish to my ears. It's not for me.
