I mean that people don't remember Simple Plan the band as much as they do the songs they did for movies that make them nostalgic like Cheaper by the Dozen or Scooby-Doo. I'd compare them to a band like Smashmouth in that regard. Smashmouth will forever be the Shrek band. Simple Plan will always be the Scooby Doo band.
