The only time listening to "pleb/non-patrician" music becomes a shitty quality in a person is when that person thinks their taste is impeccable or deep or some shit. Then it's an irritating trait that's evident from the get-go. But if the person just listens to whatever because music isn't their thing (because people have things), then it's clearly fine.
