I think objective should be used very sparingly when talking about music. It's really only something that can be applied to complexity of music or the range and skill of a vocalist. It's even wicked iffy in those departments.

I actually do not have an opinion about that. In one hand, I know music is an art expression and it's submitted to the listener's subjectivity. In the other hand, sometimes I am convinced that some albums may be 'objectively' rated as good or bad. What do you think? Can you hate a piece of art even knowing that is brilliant? Let me know.
