This is quite... specific. I'm not that much into screamo and stuff, so my "review" won't be totally valid but this sounds... specific. It is dark, emo-like but only the last track really captivated me to listen. The rest feel disjointed, especially with all tracks having different styles of recording (maybe it was intentional?). It all sounds OK, nothing special though.
>>60313523
I love both of these albums. Especially the latter one which is an interesting mix of different musical ideas. It all fits quite well and it doesn't feel all that sparse as you'd might think. And also - loving dem covers

I've enjoyed this since the first time I saw it on a BC thread. Although the MIDI orchestration is a little fake sounding sometimes, I don't expect you to have an entire cadre of musicians at your disposal, so I'm willing to judge it entirely based on the compositions themselves. And by that alone, it's good m8.

I like that rawness of old black metal. The riff transitions on plaguelord are 6/10 unless they're those calmer riffs. I like those strokes in there on the last 3 strings, you don't really hear a lot of that too clearly in oldschool style BM

I think it starts out too loud. I know you're going for abrasive and earsplitting but what happens when I open a track and it hurts my ears? I turn it the fuck down and you lose that capability for loudness later in the song. I feel like you're trying to create a balance of tension and release with a terrible sound like that contrasted with the playful bits? You should probably ease me in more than with a noise that makes me turn my volume down immediately. Start quieter. Maybe give me just a little melody that you can repeat way way way later.
>>60315986
Listened to "Mudma"
I don't feel like you quite nail the vocal intro? It sounds good after that. I like the warm atmosphere and the bass. The lyrics seem pretty easy to tune out. I can make them out if I focus on them but it's not easy and I don't feel compelled to so I don't know what I'm missing if anything.
The little experimental weird thing at the end of the track was a nice touch, very Beatlsy, made me want to listen to your next track but honestly I am having fun reviewing and I wanna review something else now.

That was obnoxious and full of catchphrases but I feel like it's lacking in musicality. Maybe the point is it's some kind of stockhausen minimalist thing but I'm just not getting into it. I was really intrigued by your arty direction tho. The hard to read website pulled me in harder so I flipped around and listened to bits of a bunch of songs. I heard some moody electronics and some distorted voices but it was just not that fun desu.

So then why don't you contribute and improve the quality of the thread?
>>60316191
The sum total of your productions and your website is going camping with a guy who wants to fuck me. That's not necessarily a bad thing but it isn't for me and if it's not something you're aware you're doing, you might want to be a little more self-aware about it, sort of how the total of early Weeknd is he's sleazy as shit and doesn't care about you but he'll get you high and fuck you so it's gonna be good? I could see you growing in a direction like that.
Track 2 and 3 are pretty nice. I liked them much better than track 1. The rhythmic switch-ups in track 3 are especially fun.

If you want to change it up, find someone who really really digs it and then tweak it to appeal to them as much as you can without it alienating you.
I just pointed out what I noticed.
I think you should try writing a self-aware song where the audience plays the role of a girl you wanna take camping and fuck. See if something monstrously appealing comes out of that exercise.
This is my shit. It's blandly experimental synthpop for nobody in particular and I'm trying to figure out what ideas I can get excited about and make something exciting.

I make it for catharsis, as a way to release my frustrations in life into art, but whenever I'm done things become worse because then you have to go out and "promote" your music, which is something I am not good at in any way at all.
I'm burned out of writing, recording, painting, performing for months upon months. I'm tired now.

The Man With Red Eyes: Nice guitar, drums and bass. Really like the vocals. Well mixed as well. If I have to name something I dont like, then maybe the melodic guitar could be mixed down just a tad. Other then that I really liked it despite this being far from the genres I usually listen to.
You lay naked in your room. All of the lights are off. The heater is on, yet a cold chill still occasionally finds its way up your back. You mostly see nothing. Once in a while an ocean of beautiful swirling stars thousands of times bigger then you will ever be flickers into your view. The blanket is soft and feels good on your exposed, open body. You forget if you are under the influence for a moment and lapse into a small crisis.
