Hey folks

Starting tonight I'm gonna be doing a weekly show on /mu/tant radio where we can listen to latin music. I'm not necessarily talking traditional maraca-core, anything from Latin America or Spain is valid.

To kick us off I will be streaming Rodrigo González' 1983 album "Hurbanistorias." Hurbanistorias, originally released in cassette form, became a bit of a cult hit in Mexico City due to the way it captured life in the city during the early '80s. González, nicknamed "Rockdrigo," tragically died in the 1985 earthquake, before he could release any more material.

Hoping to do this every week. Next time I might have to try with a more popular album to get the train going.

Was thinking Kronos Quartet - Nuevo as an introduction to many different Mexican classics. Or some MBP, some Argentinian rock... who knows.
