after being here on /mu/ for a while, seeing posts about the same shitty mainstream bands all the time... let's just say i've outgrown this board. it's not that you guys have bad taste, it's better than most, it's just i've got extremely wide knowledge of music and this site isn't cutting it anymore, especially when it has posts about genres like rap and indie
also i'm in a band and play multiple instruments, so if the site you show me to has discussion with virtuoso level musicians, that would be great too.

This is kinda why /generals/ happen and many of those start and die within a week because there are lots of big genres just no one here is interested in.
/bloop/, /funk&soul/, /jazz/, /trad/ etc are too hard work to keep going for example.
Its not surprising though really, most of /mu/ are 17-18 getting their music from p4k and Fantano so only talk about whats popular outside the charts and will probably stop caring about new music in a couple of years anyway.
