Was a huge mcr stan for a long time and Danger Days is probably their weakest album (if you don't count conv weapons as an album) but yea that song is actually so good

Vampire Money or Blood, a lot of others all over the place but those two always stick in my head.
I was a huge fan of them all throughout. Started in middle school, kept through high school and even college. They were the top of what they were doing, they were the best of that kind of act, and they evolved and changed instead of wallowing and went out on top.
Danger Days is seriously underrated, by general music lovers and their fans alike.

Danger Days was terrible if you wanted more of the same, or if you missed where they were at the time, which is more than forgivable. I remember reviews at the time, one in particular making me aware Danger Days was even a thing, and then making me listen to it. Basically, they were coming from a place where they were all kind of sick of being overbearingly emo, and wanted to make something danceable but still in their wheelhouse. They also knew they were aging, that they were getting older, that they weren't coming from the same youthful rage they were before.
If you listen to it in that context, the album's great, it makes perfect sense. It's reminiscence, it's the end of their era, and it's their going away note. It was the perfect time for them to stop, and it was a beautiful finish. And I'm glad that (Even thought I think it was a bonus track) they went out with Vampire Money, because that's a damn good finish.
Plus, I love that desert-aesthetic, bright-colored, implied cyberpunk thing they had going, so fuck it.

Basically they've never written a truly horrible song. The worst thing they've ever put out is the interludes on Danger Days.

I was a little too old by the time Danger Days came out and The Black Parade didn't age as well as I thought it would but Three Cheers is still a classic, especially the second half

"Teenagers scare the living shit out of me" was a sentiment I could always agree with.
Disenchanted, Sleep and Famous Last Words, I'm very surprised to see so much love for MCR here. Genuinely the last band I would expect /mu/ to appreciate
Demolition Lovers, Vampires Will Never Hurt You, Thank You For The Venom (especially with Interlude leading into it), Famous Last Words, You Know What They Do To Guys Like Us In Prison, Sleep. I could name about half their discog though.
Sleep I think is there most underrated song. Gerard's best vocal performance, at least.
I still love this band to be honest and love how they get love on /mu/.
