I tried Spotify Deezer and Qobuz
Spotify interface is great but Deezer sounds better and the flow is great
But if you really love music Qobuz is the best. Best quality, great selection, you'll discover new things. I'm listenning to music all the time since I have it, I don't understand how I spend so much time listening to crappy quality sounds
It's a bit more expensive, but totally worth it as far as i'm concerned.

Google Music
>Upload up to 50,000 songs
>Stream anywhere/on any device
>Works with Chromecast Audio
>Supports FLAC
>Larger library than Spotify
>Better UI
>paying for something you can get for free
>paying for music
Honestly though if TPP passes I'm gonna be using apple music since it has the most tracks. It's pretty shitty that we have to resort to this though
In preparation for TPP I've downloaded as much as my phone can really hold, but when it comes down to it I need a streaming service to take care of other stuff, so I just use Google Play for the more common stuff. $10 isn't really that unreasonable considering all the music I listen to in one day.

Tidal
seriously
>>60270438
its great ive never payed for it, and im using it like 2 years already
I've tinkered with them all and like Spotify. The playlists and user playlists are the best and the interface is nice.
Apple Music does the best job of finding things you might like.
Tidal is only value added over the others if you get the hifi package and that is bullshit anyways.
Google play is the easiest to integrate songs not on streaming services so it's my pick. The music discovery is pretty decent as well, sometimes I'll spend hours running through related artists ad nauseam.
Apple music would be amazing though for those reasons if you weren't forced to use itunes for it.

Support the labour, support the entertainment. Buy physical.

I did and now I resent dragging a load of plastic junk around each time I move house
>>60271156
But why is it shit tho
>people actually think TPP's going to change anything
lmao
I've used Pandora and Spotify. Pandora is absolutely the worst, sometimes you'll go to a station for a band and it will play them once every like 5-6 songs and the other songs are shit. Spotify is nice, especially since I have a rich Swede pay for my subscription. I wouldn't pay for it though. Just pirate and buy physical copies of what you want
>>60271113
Do you even know what that means
>>60272230
It is tho
is the prevalence of streaming services the death of ownership
>>60273336
it won't though
>>60272416
All of those services use proprietary software.
>>60273452
its the beginning of it
Just pirate everything and buy actual copies of what you like (physical or digital). Streaming is a scam.
>>60273538
No shit idiot. Its a for profit service. Why would they allow their software to be open source?
Dunno what the best is, but I liked my Apple trial. But I'm too attached to my music collection to migrate to streaming at this point.

>pay for music
>>60274512
if you don't pay for music, you should get off this website and find a job.

Apple Music has very good suggestions and artist or genre based playlists, but sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't (some songs just don't load, other start playing instantly)
Spotify is faster (all songs start instantly) and it has user playlists
I'm waiting to see apple music on android desu senpai and I may switch from spotify
$15/month seedbox.

Google Music. Got it when it was 8 dollars, love that I can upload music too. Hated Spotify's UI. Wanna try apple music when it comes to android, the radio shows seems cool.
