I disagree, Insularum has a more obvious narrative, even if it's very simple, with a very identifiable thematic progression.
I think Noontide's biggest problem is that it becomes a little repetitive at times, whereas Insularum doesn't.
And by cohesive, I mean that the instruments work a lot better together in Insularum, at some points I had trouble telling them apart, whereas in Noontide it's always pretty obvious which instrument is doing what, and sometimes they tend to work against each other (but not to the point where it becomes an issue, like in TAW) rather than always together.

In spite of how creatively ambitious all of those bands are, Drudkh are the only one who have received ANY KIND of coverage in any mainstream-alternative music media whatsoever. Pitchfork's review of Eternal Turn of the Wheel was ridiculously gushing about it, but spent half the review talking about the fact that the band might possibly be nazis. They, of course, didn't get a BNM, but interestingly enough did end up on Grayson Currin's (the writer) end of year list.

To add to this: they've made a copypaste message like that to use on albums whose "opinions they don't agree with", so the obvious conclusion is that if the message is missing, they are fine with the contents. Nazis are bad, but they don't seem to have any problems with anti-Christianity, anti-Islam, worshipping Satan, or lyrics that glorify violence and rape. Why are they this desperate about catering to the Jewish community? Nazis have to be banned but all other potentially offensive material gets a pass. I understand it when they censor album covers that contain explicit gore, but why would they censor covers like Fanisk's Noontide which just contains a swastika? It's not like anyone is going to be offended just from seeing a swastika for fuck's sake. We all know the symbol and we've seen it many times during our lives, it's not like it's something new or shocking.
