TPAB for me but I haven't listened to this because I gave up on Milo after how huge of a disappointment I thought Toothpaste Suburb was (especially lyrically, I really disliked that album). Does this one go in a different direction?

i don't mind the esoteric poetry shit, i just think toothpaste suburb was overtly referential and tried too hard to push 'relatable' (basically nerdcore) lyrics to the point that nothing he was saying had any real meaning. it was like he took the 'i should be making more kitty pryde references' line from TTHAD to heart and did just that. really irritating. if he's moving in a more creative, personal direction i'll be pretty happy w it i'm guessing.

also, i wonder why that guy's post about TPAB being AOTY was bait but mine wasn't? lmao
