I can agree with this score.
Great pop songs, but with the latter half of the album not being as good as the middle, it's kind of a drag to finish.
Fantastic album from Phil Elverum. But it isn't as beautiful as the three Microphone albums (It Was Hot, The Glow pt.2, Mount Eerie) which are all 10's.

It's interesting to listen to because you see how Phil evolved as an artist. But it isn't anything too amazing. Same goes with the few tapes he put out before, the Microphones, Wires & Cords, Windows, and Tests. They are all good, but not much compared to his bigger albums.
