Being a musician is a meme now I don't even bother telling people
just like when people call themselves artist because they learned how to draw

It's good
I talk with people about music much more, and its helped me make new friends and also find out about some really cool venues and bands.

One annoying thing is that most friends will always praise everything you make and never give you any honest feedback or critique, even if they don't particularly the material or live performance

One thing I've noticed is that if you're doing a solo project, and it's not EDM, people find it weird for some reason. Doing things alone is weird even if you're doing art.
