I'm not really the biggest fan of death grips, but I've got to admit that On GP and Centuries of Damn are amazing songs, they sound different from other songs of Death Grips. Part of it because of the guitars. Any artists/songs that sound like this?
Pink Floyd - Ummagumma

Don't know where to start for metal. I actually don't know if I even want to start listening to metal.

Nick Reinhardt of Tera Melos and bygones plays on those track so maybe check those bands out??

Don't listen to >>59599733, he's fucking with you. Death Grips have more in common with math rock and industrial rock than any kind of metal.

There isn't really any kind of metal that sounds like Death Grips but if you're open to giving metal a try then I would suggest getting into doom metal/sludge metal. Electric Wizard - Dopethrone, Acid Bath - When the Kite String Pops and Melvins - Houdini are amazing albums. Also check out Black Sabbath's first 6 studio albums, they paved the way for doom metal/sludge metal.
Hella, some tracks from Zach Hills solo stuff such as Total Recall remind me a bit of the guitar sound and style on those tracks.
