I did. One of my relatives gave me a Kino greatest hits cassette when I was 7 or so. I should probably go back to it someday. The guy was Soviet Union's only rock star (and I know Grebenshchikov exists, but I think Tsoi's persona was much more popular).
I wish it was easier to find the movies he did, some look interesting from the scenes on those Kino yt videos
