Name a better 1970s art-pop album.
Pro-tip: You can't
>music before the 90's
>art pop
No, I can't.
Does this count?
are there any albums *after* the 70s that sound similar to this that /mu/ would recommend?

Check this release out, it may peak your interest. Less of a pretentious, overstated proof of talent than AGW.

Daily reminder that Golden Hours contains the GOAT guitar solo
>inb4 that one other track on Another Green World people think has a better solo

c'mon man, it's totally apples and oranges; the lead bit on "golden hours" is probably not even a solo, as quirkily as fripp might be playing it. it's a brilliant tune, but "st elmo's fire" and its associated solo are utterly sublime and you know it

wow - one of these I actually can agree with? what's /mu/ coming to?

ding ding ding! winner!

Yeah, but the rest of the tracks are just weak.

I would rather not argue since I love that album, but I think you can make a case for Eno's other art rock albums.
