Hey, so headphones are pretty music related. What are you guys thoughts on this pair?
>>55425765
Those are great headphones, definitely recommend them.
Prepare for hell on this thread OP you're gonna get a million insults and opinions so.
>>55425765
I have a pair and I like them a lot. Pretty durable and I haven't noticed any sound deterioration in the time I've owned them.
Koss Porta Pros are really good for their price, I recommend them.

is she making waffles on her head?
Will break within a few months. Never buying that shit again.
"Lifetime warranty" means they'll send you shit so you can fix them yourself.
>>55425765
I've gone through three of them and the problem was always that one of the speakers would stop sounding ooor one of them would fall off. Then again I'd always keep them in my bag and they'd get mushed. Haven't had any problems since I got the ATH-meme50x
>>55425765
I use them for portable, probably the best price/performance headphone you could buy
pic related is my daily driver
I have this Focal Spirit One since last year.
these little budies are awesome. I had it for 80€ because a friend owns a hi-fi/tech store, don't regret it, and bonus points : the wire can be detached and changed, and the box is pretty useful.
>>55425765
Forced to use these since my JVCs finally broke
They're pretty good
>>55425765
they were the original memephone before beats and m50s came along
I've used a pair of portapros for about 3 years now for my daily commute. They stopped working a few times but I have a soldering iron so I'm good to go unless the drivers fail.
>>55425765
I've carried around a pair of these in my backpack that I toss around. I've had them 3+ years and they've stayed functionally intact. They are kinda shit, but I don't see how you could do better for the price.
OP here.
Thanks for the advice boys, i'll go for it, but i won't expect high quality sound. I guess you get what you pay for.
>>55426242
people who say this just didn't take care of their pair. I've used mine for literally a year with zero problems at all. they're fucking great.
Just sold these for $210. I'm currently using the 60s now.
if you want portable headphones, please, don't be autistic and go IEMs
>>55427798
Care to elaborate?
>>55427900
he's saying that it looks really unfashionable to walk around with headphones
I agree
IEM's are pretty good
>>55427967
IEM's are shit in every way except portability
>>55428030
holy top lel m8
more like IEM's are better in every way except for durability and soundstage
>>55428188
and actually sounding any good
>>55428517
you clearly have no idea what are you talking about nigger
Wearing some now, they're great plus look shit so when you get mugged like I did last week they didn't even bother taking them
They're good but I recommend getting some third-party pads for the ears, look around on ebay. The shit foam ones that come with them fall off easily and tear.
>>55428563
ok fuckface
every IEM I've ever tried have sounded like I was listening through a very tight hole
Speaking of, thinking of buying some AKG 240's. Found them for just over a hundred CAD on Amazon. Should I go for it?
>>55427750
Why would you sell them? I'm wearing my pair right now, they're absolutely beautiful.
>>55426242
>"Lifetime warranty" means they'll send you shit so you can fix them yourself.
The fuck are you talking about? You just mail in the headphones with like 5 bux for shipping/handling and they send you a new pair in a few days.

>Plug into portable music player.
>Put them on head.
>Listen to music.
>Take of.
>Plug out.
>Fold in.
>Put back in pocket.
What did I do wrong? Do I have to use lab gloves and store it on a velvet pillow inside a vacuum container?
My Sennheisers has lasted for years, every Koss I've had has a faulty cable within six months. Plastic or textile cable, doesn't matter, they're built like shit.

They wouldn't have it that way. Don't know if it's a regional thing, but they wanted me to fix it myself.
