How about his entire discography man? I've listened to pretty much everything he's ever dropped(god bless torrents) and I can easily say that he is hip hop dude. He works within the same stylistic realm as people like Shlohmo, Flying Lotus, Madlib, and Teebs. Dude is hip hop all the way.

I would recommend listened to Shlohmo's stuff in chronological order. Makes more sense that way.Start with the Places EP and then move on to Bad Vibes and then just go in order of release date. A large majority of the shit that he has done is fucking great.
