Conceptual split album my best friend and I wrote about a series of experiences we endured together, told through a fictional narrative about heroes at sea, an enchantress of the water, a battle between friends, and finding one's way home after the storm.

Mixed bag of genres, I like to think there's something for everyone

>symphonic rock

Hope you enjoy, and if you can make it through the massive running time, it's sincerely appreciated, even if you don't buy it. It's our personal story and we just want to share it with people. Thank you in advance.

Right on. Tell him a stranger on the internet who digs the album says they hope everything works out for him. So far, Shadows Of The Moon has blown me away the most, it's got a garagey lo-fi Pink Floyd vibe to the slow consistency going on. Killer track.

I listened to just a couple of bits and gave it an instant download. Perfect spooky/depressing stuff and I love it, Sounds like good indie horror walking simulator game stuff, if that makes sense

>>55094433
Would be more into this if the lyrics were on the page, cause the sound effects and the levels at some point make it so I can't hear them. Don't know, maybe my ears suck. At some points the effects make it kind of corny too. Listened to The Story of the Sulfuric Sultan though and really liked it, gave the album a download.

I'm on Child Of The North Star so far, and I have to say, I'm in love. Your guitarwork is beautiful, I envy being able to play that kind of engaging, expressive acoustic work. It's really weird, Bob (Reign Of Apollo) and I have been going through some hard times lately, and your music captures the sort of emptiness he's going through right now, and that I just kind of got over. He came in to my room while I was listening and said he appreciated your words, and he sat and listened with me. I like your vocals a lot too, reminds me of Anthony Green.

Really evocative stuff, though, really. I'm going to finish Only Here To Stay and then get started on the other album, but so far, OHTS is really touching me. Thanks for making it.

I really like this, it's noisier than most vaporwave but still has that sample-based vibe. Sort of reminds me of Chuck Person's Eccojams with some trippy beats accompanying it.
>>55095039
The sharp contrast between the clean, jangly guitar and the noisy shoegaze is cool. It's rough without sounding poorly-produced. Have you ever thought of getting into heavier shoegaze and maybe bringing screamo or metal into it? You could probably pull off the Envy/SFFS thing pretty well.
>>55095650
Ayy, I've definitely got to give the entirety of this a listen, I loved the first Wheel and the Leviathan EP. The production seems a little better but it still retains that processed sound (which I like). Really psychedelic stuff.
>>55095148
I'm listening to this one first, and I really love the atmosphere of it! Has the dark vibes reminiscent of Swans' lighter stuff, but feels more tender and "small", in a good way. I like the effects on the vocals, they're very ethereal, which contrasts well with the acoustic guitars and instruments. New favorite!

Jesus thanks. Yeah, I don't like talking too much about the music because I feel really pretentious but in brief UAB is about some drug problems and I wanted the sound of the album to sort of have an overwhelming vibe throughout. Only Here to Leave was sort of more straight forward and angrier/sadder.
>>55096877
This is really cool. I feel like there's not enough fun music coming out in the underground these days because indie music as a whole is so heavily sad (I'm guilty of this) but yeah this is rad.

Your music is really nice, right up my alley. Great atmosphere and production.
Opening track title really got me because I was just at a Mariano's with my girlfriend and I never knew there were that many varieties of apples but they had a sign saying so and I was blown away and she was embarrassed by my lack of apple knowledge. I'm halfway through Rain and I have to say, I'm digging the fuck out of this EP. Over 7000 Varieties Of Apples was beautiful, I immediately had to show it to one of my friends 'cause I knew he'd love it. Perfect atmosphere, and the part at 1:17 blew me away, the build up was rad as fuck. Same with the transition at 5:31 in Rain, fucking SOUL CRUSHING. I was trying to think of what SDE track Rain reminded me of and I finally remembered:

https://sundevouredearth.bandcamp.com/track/we-all-carry-stones-on-our-backs

The transition with the heavy drums and heavy riffing in Rain at 5:31 reminded me so much of the one in this track at 2:20, same heavy emotional impact. I love that all-encompassing, hard-pounding, wall-o'-reverb effect. Very emotionally compelling.

This is some awesome stuff! The first track reminds me of myself, actually. The last track is sweet.

>>55110092
Vaguely remember listening to Pathos. Listened to it again, very cool stuff. The little riff that cuts in at the end of Droplets sells the track. The listener is complacent with the arpeggio and it leaves a huge impression for only being a few notes. Really cool shit.

Currently working on a dark ambient EP, three tracks in. I'm returning to 1, 2, and 3 minute track times. I'm excited to see how it'll turn out.

Oh and to the talentless hack who is obviously jealous of everyone because their whole body is a left testicle, fuck you and your rules:
I know there are decent people on these threads, and I want to know your opinions. I give out my music free, so if you want to be a douche just fuck off. I have 0 time for you. If you are interested in music, have a listen.

Fuck right off with your soundcloud link in a bandcamp thread. Being edgy will get you nowhere in this world. Calling people out on beef in a thread will also get you nowhere. Nobody is interested in your music. You have to make them interested. This is the exact opposite of making people interested.

Grow the fuck up.
>>
>>55111783
lol what is this post
first of all this is a bandcamp thread
and a passive-aggressive rant out of nowhere isn't going to make people interested in your music.

oh and I did have a listen. muddy synths and really lacking percussive production too. doesn't make me want to play this at a club or listen to it ever again.

Ok it turns out the decent people who appreciate free music are not here. Live and learn.
>>
>>55111971
I really love the egoistic way you talk
like you deserve attention because your music is free?

you know, your music is free because you have no choice. nobody would buy those piles of crap
>>
I see... how sad you think you can speak for the entirety of humanity.
I dont give a fuck whether I get attention, all i care about is the fact that I have been doing it for a long time and frankly I dont give a fuck about the opinions of anyone on this site.
I thought there were decent people here, but hey, now that I found out you are all ungrateful little prisses I shall leave.
>>
>>55111991
we have a winrar, a ding ding ding

>>55112050
no, but the entirety of humanity is not here. If you "don't give a fuck about the opinions of anyone one on this site", why did you ask for feedback?

Have a nice life, dumbass.
>>
>>55109714
this is actually pretty sick. it reminds me of a 90s alt influenced ariel pink in a way. great stuff. I would recc this. also you should attach your album art as a file next time u post in the bandcamp thread
>>55107279
your whole aesthetic is absolutely nuts, and you make san sebastian seem like a pretty cool place. i probably can't give super pointed feedback on this, however it seems well produced and very danceable.
>>55105414
honestly i was a bit turned off at first by your album cover (hahaha it's pretty great) and your recording quality, but your songs are pretty well crafted. this album seems like you had your laptop on one side of your garage and you on the other and you just sang and played as loudly as you could (i make lofi music, i <3 shitty audio quality normally). your first album is definitely more listenable in terms of how it sounds. the tracks are so quiet on your most recent release that i ttakes away from the songwriting. overall, cool stuff and waterbury, ct is dope! lots of good music coming outta there.
>>
>>55113675
hey, thanks a lot.

tho I might be a *special* citizen of San Sebastian because it's just your typical average basque euro city that looks like Paris.

I thought I'd say that I really enjoy this. The production on Child of the North Star is basically like every single one of my musical "fetishes" packed into one song. I think a lot of this would go well with some soft percussion. Even if it's just brushed snares and hi-hats. You've got quite a formula going here, I love it. Stands out quite a bit.
