Just checked them on youtube. One song sounded Nu-Jazzy, the other song I tried sound like Jazztronik meets country, so I don't know.

Won't happen. There's a lot of great innovation and good new music being written in the current jazz scene. Unfortunately a lot of it doesn't get that much attention, even within the jazz community, much less the music community as a whole.
