I actually listened to Embryonic for the first time a couple days ago. Didn't like it as much as The Terror but it's about on par with The Soft Bulletin for me. Those are the only Flaming Lips albums that I've heard.

tried to listen to neutral milk hotel. Sounds like garbage to me.
Softcore "black metal". Good for melanchoholic metalheads or ravaging goths or whatever, anyone may like it, it is not as bad as you think... I think.

Also this.
>deluge of sores
Can't really get the whole post rock thing, but this is damn good!
>>54895325
For me, The Terror was a damn near perfect blend of abrasion and depressive atmosphere. Those 2 things really do it for me. Seriously, The Terror has like 4 10/10 songs IMO. Look, The Sun Is Rising might be my song of the decade.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OnqZVcGHFaU

>>54895431
I'm going to reply as if I think you're not trolling around.
I didn't like it the first time either, now it's my favourite album of all time. I know it's hard to see past the meme that is In the Aeroplane Over the Sea, but if you can sit down and appreciate it as an album I think you might come around on it.
But not liking something is fine, don't feel bad about it.
>>54895732
fuck yes. This grew on me so much this past week
>>54894709
This is really, really good so far. Thanks anon.
