Shure se535s are my bad boys

My slightly better boys are my AKG K-66, which I only use for outdoors/field recording and for sharing, cuz they're cheep and I don't mind if they get broke.

>>
>>54772247

ship those bad boys to me. I have sr60's and I'm looking to upgrade, probably in the same family. Are those also slightly uncomfortable?

AKG K702 for home

Pic related. Recently copped the ANC7b's. Not sure how I feel about the soundstage and they look really big and goofy, but I got them for like 100 bucks less than retail and I need noise cancellation so whatever.

How does the fiio sound with the akgs? I have some 240s right now without a preamp and the bass is almost non existent at times wondering if that will help
>>
>>54773541
I use it to boost the bass a little and they work decently enough for me. I'm not sure how loud you like your music but these can only bring volume up by like 20-25% before everything just starts sounding overdriven and awful. It's more than enough for me. I honestly don't even use it like 75% of the time, just for specific genres.

Had these for a few years now, only problem with them is that the foam rubber at the top has sunken in so the headset now cuts into my head. Gets very uncomfortable after a while.

sound quality is average and they're uncomfortable but they never break
>>
>>54772776

They should be even more uncomfy since they have less comfy pads
>>
>>54773692
Why don't you fix it?
>>
>>54773766
It's not the pads, it's the fact that they squeeze the shit out of my head
>>
>>54773775
Laziness. I just ordered new headband padding, because you asked.
>>
>>54773403
Same. More comfy than the over-ear version. Want to get some noise canceling cans as well, but haven't done any research.

they're not that uncomfortable IMO
and great sound quality for their price range
>>
>>54772299
have heard these are pound for pound the best value and that a lot of studios use them. wonder if sony's considered offering them in different colors for us idiots who find black boring.

My ears sweat just looking at all those over-ear headphones.

I bought a pair of jlabs yesterday. They don't sound incredible, but they were on sale for 20 bucks so fuck it.

Sennheiser HD 600s.

I've owned them for a couple years. Loving it! Totally worth the price of admission.

here are my meme50x's I've had them for a little over a month and a week for my first headphones for 130$

they are kind of uncomfortable and clampy but I guess I would keep them for portable shit
what should I get for home
>>
>>54773316
Does hip-hop sound good on the AKG K702?
>>
>>54773316
Also, wouldn't the Sony's cord be too long for travel?
>>
>>54773371
My little portable Fiio amp has been acting up lately. Like the audio will end up only coming out of one side of my headphones. Amp is fully charged and nothing appears to be caught in the jack. Had any problems with yours?
>>
>>54777554
I haven't brought mine outside of the house at all and I don't use it a whole lot so it's lasted me a year so far. No problems to report. The E6 is only 30 bucks so I wouldn't be surprised if it just poops out after a while. How long have you had it?

I'll get my high quality set when I can afford it.
>>
>>54777598
I've had it for a couple years so that could be it. Not a big deal because it's relatively cheap, but I'm kinda bummed out because there's a noticeable difference in the audio when I'm not using it.
>>
>>54777648
Yeah, I guess just grab a new one then. A 30 dollar portable amp lasting that long isn't too bad though, imo. Heck, maybe now's the time to invest more money in a better one. The sky's the limit.

>>54776393
