That's the problem. Not a single band goes above "bretty kewl". It's good if you don't listen to a lot of rock music, but it's just so derivative and comfortable being mediocre.
Funny thing, I'm in a band and my m8 really wants to sign to Burger Records. I think that would be suicide though. It would be out of desperation and nothing else.

99% of it is just a bunch of teenagers who can't play their instruments and have nothing to say
it was bad enough when the people i went to high school with were only spamming me with their shitty pop punk disguised as garage rock but now that some of them have actually gotten national/international attention theyve all become really insufferable. Terrible, terrible fucking group of bands.

they have a lot of same sounding mediocre bands
but the bands that try something different usually stand out and are great. a lot of my favorite bands are signed to them or have had a release by burger.
am going to burgerama 4 this weekend since they always got some great bands and its cool that they seem to have secluded all the garbage bands to the shitty constellation stage. am prepared for them to fuck up their schedule as they usually do.
