This is obviously bait but post-avantgarde would just be music that was inspired by the avant-garde. Avant-garde means the forerunners who are breaking new ground so post-avantgarde would just be the people who are dumbing that down.
So, something like The Olivia Tremor Control would be post-avantgarde because electroacoustic music was avant-garde in its time but they have taken it and made it pop music.

I've heard (and like) a lot of bands like this, but what I mean is straight-up chiptune with metal melodies and rhythms. I guess it's more of a style than a sub-genre.
