They're just packaging it as a double album. They're completely different records recorded at different times. I think it was just convenient for them to release it all at once physically hence the "double album" being physical.

Here's the Columns UI code for anyone that cares.

Go to the playlist view section of the Columns UI options and put it in the grouping tab. If the "discnumber" tag is then more than 1, it'll put whatever's written in the tag called DISC NAME in parentheses next to the album title and split the discs appropriately. If there isn't a DISC NAME tag or it's blank, it'll have (Disc #) next to the album name, with # being whatever's in the Disc Number tag.
