He's pretty well rated imo, the main problem is that it lacks of true great songs, where almost all the Songs For The Deaf songs are memorable, plus it's a bit short : even if i like short albums, it's frustrating. Better Live Through Chemestry and the ending are still GOAT though

The only semi-overrated QOTSA album is self titled, because people who like Kyuss more prefer it. I don't know why, its basically Kyuss-lite. And why would you not listen to the real thing?

I like SftD but imo it's all fun and no depth, whereas their other albums are a lot more interesting; especially ...Like Clockwork and Lullabies. Also, there's little variety on SftD; it's a pummeling tour du force but by the end it gets kinda tiring.
As for Rated R, it's not underrated per se but it seems everytime people talk about QOTSA it's either about SftD or LC. Rated R is among their best; partly because it's short but sweet. It also contains some of their best material.

I think it's underrated solely by way of being so fucking good and yet not as widely played or acclaimed as their "classic" material. And I don't think Pandemonium could be underrated either because that album charted even better than KJ 2003 and gave them their highest-charting song besides Love Like Blood with Millennium.
Extremeties would probably be better for underrated than either of them. That album gets no love whatsoever, being sort of a transitional album and everything.
