conductors and musicians won't care about the bpm either.
classically trained musicians will care about the tempo but they'll never say talk about the bpm of a piece unless it's something incredibly specific (which is rare as fuck). and jazz musicians won't care about bpm either since it's all about feel in jazz.

What if they wrote the piece?
>djs are scum
What makes you say that?
>>54034529
no one thinks about the fucking exact bpm when writing a piece. unless you're a stuck up faggot you'll give the piece a tempo ranking (largo, andante, presto, etc.).
>>54034626
Depends what sort of music you're composing. Electronic music for example often demands an exact BPM due to the nature of its production process, unless you're writing something more loosely structured such as ambient or electroacoustic music.

I feel like hating on electronic music as a whole is much more fedora-tipper-esque.
