I can understand where you're coming from.
He does get alot of traffic from ppl who hype his stuff to the point of annoyance.
But when I first heard him I thought he was amazing as well, granted I didn't tell every one about him, but I can imagine that the ppl who are the most annoying are new to his discog.
and besides if more ppl are still finding him thats a good thing. Hes music obviously has the ability to hit ppl a certain when when they havn't heard that sound beforehand, and thats what music should be man.
If you really mean it, that these ppl have ruined not just his music for you, but that your ability to enjoy things like this has been hindered I am sorry to hear that, truly.
I am not saying hes the greatest musician ever, but hopefully you'll be able to fully enjoy his stuff again one day.

thanks man. i dont know if i should blame it entirely on these people, maybe it was overplay or the entire aesthetic of photoshop brushes and abstract images. nujabes has to be one of the most polarizing artist for me, sometime im really in the mood, but more often than not i cant stand him. some songs like reflection eternal or who's theme never get boring though.

I cant help but think that Shing02 was crying when rapping this.
His death hit me hard. I was really starting to get into trip hop thanks to him and Fat Jon from their work on Samurai Champloo. I ended up liking Fat Jon and his earlier work, but I was impressed just how much of a catalog Nujabes covered. I collected everything I could after hearing he passed away so I could know him more. It's nothing short of moving, best I can describe it. It really took you somewhere else. He won't be forgotten.

I'm a big fan of Nujabes,there was a time that i just listened to him.
Only bad thing about it is that when u dig deeper into hip hop,you will see that his production is a bit corny and repetitive.
