All this week I've been listening to Midori and 385, they're so fucking great I can't believe I hadn't heard them before. The two albums I really connected with are Hello Everyone, Nice to Meet You, We Are Midori (pic related) and No Miso Araou (the one with the green elephant). Does anyone else really enjoy this vein of music? Where do I go from here?

Here's No Miso Araou, the one by 385. It's like Midori but noisier and with slap bass.

Why don't you just listen to jap jazz instead?

I'll try it out, thanks

can i get a download for this please?
I also love 385 and Midori, you could start by checking out Miya from 385's first band Bleach. I'd reccomend this one album: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nP3O9ssHZPk
Also 385's biggest influence are Primus who are worth getting into if you haven't already. If you are into Punk with a Jazz influence I'd recommend Saccharine Trust, though it's quite different from what you posted:

i like セカンド just as much, if not more than あらためまして、はじめまして、ミドリです。. It's slightly more aggressive than あらためまして、はじめまして、ミドリです。, and the closing track is amazing. Well worth a listen.
