These are definitely some of the most depressing and repetitive threads on this board. The same old stuff again and again. Nearly everything that isn't old is garbage. Tons of "ambient" with cheesy drums and trip hop beats, basically the easy-listening and elevator music of today.

Carve out the face of my god by Infinite Body. Excellent, noisy/drony ambient. It got some attention when it came out but I don't see many people posting about it.

Tired Sounds is great, but I've really been enjoying Avec Laudenum recently. It's like their transition record from Ballasted to Tired Sounds from their grittier style to their more professional sound, and it's calming as fuck.
This guy opened at some noise show I went to, cool stuff, great visuals.

Anyone else into ASC's ambient material? Time Heals All is one of my favorite ambient albums. It's really good for walking around because it progresses and the mood is pretty dynamic.
