How is this man so based? Some random melody on a song he puts on SC has so much emotion and heart, makes me feel so many positive emotions. Never will we be gifted as generously as this again.

Explains why I've been exclusively listening to him for the past year and it's becoming an actual, real life obsession. I now have forgotten the hundreds of artists/bands I've listened to in my life and exclusively listen to him and his likes, but mostly him(Only this period, I know all the rephlex, planet-mu, Love Love crew)

I feel you man. I've gone from a variety of different artists to just the holy quadrinity (AFX, BOC, Autechre and Squarepusher), I truly don't need any other music. Of course Aphex is at the top, I listen to his music everyday, sooo sooo good words cannot even begin to describe. Keep on going mate, we live in a glorious time.

I like Aphex as much as your average /mu/tant, but I don't know what gets you so choked up about that little pentatonic melody. He's had better stuff than that.
And what are you doing listening to Aphex for melodies anyway? I would think the rhythmic interplay would be anyone's main attraction. When I want to hear something divinely beautiful and lyrical I listen to Chopin or Debussy.
