Dudes, how many new albums do you listen in a week?
>>
not enough :(
>>
Probably 10 new ones. about 15-20 all together.
>>
Some days I fill every waking album with new albums, sometimes I go for months without new shit.
>>
>>53541632
usually 1-5, I'm assuming new means shit I haven't heard before
>>
>>53541659
>more than one new album a day

>>
>>53541632
about 30-35. most of new music of shit, only 5-6 of those are redeemable
>>
3 or 4 maybe
>>
>implying anyone with a life can manage to listen to 30 albums properly in a week

you have no idea what the fuck you're talking about, go and impress your friends instead of us
>>
About 10-15 a week
>>
>>53541920
hey buddy, you aren't doing it right
>>
on average maybe 1.
>>
This week: none
Usually 2-3
Currently been listening to the same albums over and over again, namely I got a boy by SNSD, Tea for the Tillerman by Cat Stevens and OK Computer by Radiohead
>>
10-30?I don't know how you guys do it. Do you actually listen to every single album all the way through? Listening to an album I find mediocre or worse in it's entireity is seriously painful for me
I kind of just browse around on spotify and listen to random artists/band, and when I find one I really like i give one of their albums a listen
I rarely go into an album completely blind to what i'm about to put myself through, I need to have heard at least 2 good songs from the artist that grow on me enough to listen to a complete album
How do you guys do it? Most albums take at least 2 listens before they sound good too

Fuck off, vile witch, you shan't seduce me with your feminine powers. I'm going to go listen to microtonal generative improvisations on my quartz radio

I've listened to 8 new albums and 12 new EPs this week so far.
>>
7.

Usually:
Download a bunch of shit, usually >4GB at one time, maybe an entire record label or discography, or just stuff that I've found/seen reviewed/seen on a record label/been recommended, then I'll just load a playlist of that and listen through it while I do work or for when I'm travelling/commuting.

I kind of have an obsession with finding new music though, I like pretty much all kinds of music so there's always plenty of stuff for me to check out and with storage being cheap these days you can just keep hoarding it.

I made a playlist of my backlog and it was like eight weeks long. I've been listening to it basically exclusively for months now. One week left.

I have an office job and they let me listen to music at work. I also listen to albums while commuting. I can get through 30 or so new ones in a week and still see my friends on the weekends. It's kush.
>>
>>53541711

how are you not banned yet? are you fucking a mod?
>>
>>53541632
Not many. 1 or 2 in average I'd say.
>>
>basing your taste on how many new albums you listen to per week
>missing the point of music and art in general

Guys, I just flipped through my art history text book and looked at all the pictures. I also just binge-watched a lot of movies on Netflix. I am a true patrician. If you only watch a couple of movies per day you should just kill yourself
>>
same stale album as the last week with a new drug of choice
>>
I listen to 10 to 12 albums a day, maybe 2 of 3 are new to me.

So 14 to 21 new albums on a good week
>>
>>53541632
ideally 7, realistically 4-5
>>
>3 years ago - About 20 so a week

It's amazing what growing up and having a life does to someones music intake

3-4 new releases and 1-2 older than 2 months per day. Sundays I relisten the ones that caught my attention the most.
>>
I try to listen to two new ones a day if I have the time. Maybe 5 or more if they're all short punk albums or something. If I make 7 a week, I call myself good.

But there's different ways. I probably have listened to 30 albums a week once or twice, but I usually don't have time for that much consumption.
>>
>>53541632
~4
>>
>>53541632
who is this AIDS brigades?
>>
.25, maybe. I usually only listen to an album when I specifically want to listen to it. I rarely feel like listening to 'music.'
