I'm a 4AD man myself
Sargent House and Deathwish
Not just one, but a few:
Warp
Dhatura
Cryo-Chamber
Weareallghosts
Suburban Base
Bunkai-Kei. Lots of glitchy beepboops.

who are some good artists on sacred bones? All i know is pharmakon.
Dred Collective is nice.
I like the majority of Southern Lord's releases
imprec
stroboscopic artefacts
miasmah
The Flenser
yeah, Fonal Records. i like the Jewelled Antler Collective too, but i'm not sure if they can be considered a record label.
Sub Pop puts out a lot of good shit, so I guess them.

Both of these. I also like HoZac, Ascetic House, Bathetic, Goner, and Ecstatic Peace.
Gotta be phantasy right now, also manmakesmusic, warp, subpop, hardly art, and at one point ed banger; but theyve gotten pretty shitty
Captured Tracks

I've recently been listening to some Smithsonian Folkways, Celestial Harmonies, and UNESCO stuff. Deutsche Grammophon is an obvious winner.

>>53443909
I've heard that John Carpenter's new album is pretty good
>>53443954
Fantastic label. Dekorder is similar.
>>53444135
Kranky is probably my favorite big label.
Southern Lord, Polyvinyl, Topshelf Records
Kranky ECM Blue Note
>>53443909
Depends what you like. Lust for Youth, Marissa Nadler, Amen Dunes, Pop 1280, Moon Duo, and The Men are my favorites. But they have a pretty wide spread of acts signed to them. Their compilation of early death rock 45s that they released last year was pretty awesome too.
I like Kranky and Young God a lot
They're the only two record labels where I've thought "right, I like so many of the artists on this label that I'm going to find out who's signed to them that I haven't heard, and maybe discover some new gems"
FatCat are pretty cool as well
I'm completely indifferent to the rest
easy
>>53443909
I particularly like Lust For Youth (last year's AOTY for me), Vår, Föllakzoid, The Men and Amen Dunes. Latest EP by Institute and LP by Cult Of Youth are pretty good too.
Southern Lord O)))

I would say CT too, if they'd only manage to keep the ratio of good albums up a bit. Seems like basically the second works by Minks, Craft Spells, Blouse and, to a lesser extent, Beach Fossils, Mac DeMarco and Wild Nothing were underwhelming at best.
>>53443712
Sacred Bones has been disappointing me so far. Pharmakon and Destruction Unit are good, but The Men, Dream Police, Amen Dunes and Pop. 1280 are let-downs imo.
marriage records
k records
secretly canadian

vår is my fav sacred bones band
Damn Sacred Bones is probably the best of the completely independent labels.
Otherwise, maybe a beggars group label like Rough Trade or 4AD.
Captured tracks is pretty good, but it's often hit or miss for me.
Count Your Lucky Stars
Touch and Go, for sure
I love everythign sacred bones has ever put out.
also woodsist, underwater peoples, not not fun and infinity cat
>liking destruction unit but not the men
have you even heard leave home or immaculada ?
>>53443937
Yes, so do I.
>>53443712
I'm Jewish, so no
Yeah, BUFU Records definitely.
Wichita Recordings and Hamburger Records are good as well.
