Yep. It's time. Like every 5 years, new Gorillaz record. I'm hyped as fuck. Hope they'll tour again.
I hate when an artist announces a "return" without having any actual details for what they're going to do. It's like how David Lynch announced that Twin Peaks was coming back, but without actually telling any of the actors or anyone but Mark Frost about it before doing so.

Aside from the unnecessary first 3 tracks, it's more replayable than DD. The second half would be absolutely flawless but Sweepstakes is unforgivable.

The Fall was literally just Damon noodling around on an iPad during his tour downtime.
They released it for free because, well, shit, here's something for the fans, I guess.
It's not really even something that can be compared to the rest of their discography.
Hype. All 3 major Gorillaz albums to date have been great. Let's see what they've got in store for us this time around.
Somewhat related but has anyone listened to Albarn's 2014 solo album Everyday Robots? I thought it was actually pretty decent and Heavy Seas of Love was one of the best tracks of the year.
