not listened to them all thoroughly, but they seem to be more slower and laid out works. the repetitive drums are still there, but more on the background. i have trouble differentiating the guitars and other string instruments (it seems most of it is guitar work?) - slow and very symphonic sounding drones tend to be in focus in symphony no 1 and symphony no 2 and symphony no 5
symphony no 9 is complete orchestral music i think
i like them more than the ascensions, there are less dated sounding twing-twangs for me
it's all worth giving a try to, definetly
