I can't say much about anime but in videogames it's different than any other medium. When done right, It doesn't tries to replicate movies (saddly, most of the times it does, fuck you naughty dog/mgs 4 and a lot of 'cinematic' videogames) and tries to immerse the player. I'm not going to say The Walking Dead is a masterpiece but it gives the player a choice to tailor the story based on his choices, this is impossible in any other medium disregarding "alternative sequences" which are at most times just unnecessary. I'm too lazy to elaborate on why an specific game is a masterpiece but videogames do have a lot of potential, it's just that it got spoiled by the industry way too early. I miss games like Grim Fandango.

We don't smoke them because we're retarded, we smoke them because we got addicted one way or another. My older brother smoked, and so I started stealing his cigs when I was 13 because I thought he was cool and wanted to be like him.
When I was 15 he started to buy me cigs cause he realized I was stealing them, and by 17ish I was smoking at least 3 a day, which was a fair amount for a 17 year old. I tried quitting when I was 19 but the anxiety it caused was too much and I needed to smoke another cig to calm myself down after going just two weeks.
Some of us don't have much of a choice in the matter. Its very hard to quit, and I know its bad for my lungs, but when I smoke a cig I feel tranquil and relaxed, kind of like I'm taking a break from everything else. People like you who call me out on the street and say, "You know those cause cancer, right?" are the scum of the Earth. I know I made the conscious decision to be, "cool," when I was 13, but its too much for me to quit at this age.

there is no set "Main Character" so you see the story from every bodies perspective in semi-chronological order. Watch this in English since it takes place in america so.

Deadman Wonderland is fucking bullshit. It's really bad up until episode 4-5 and then actually gets pretty alright, but the show is 12(+1 OVA) episodes. Fucking nothing is resolved other than who the man in red is.
