Work your way through the Mountain Goats discography, start to finish

I thought this album was a little too 'edgy' although I still enjoyed it. I prefer Christmas Island though.

first suggestion itt that I don't knows yet. I have the discography downloaded fortunately. I will listen to them after radiohead.
I listen to pop rock - like Weezer or early Foo Fighters - which, sure is kind of lame but there's something inherently soothing about simple pop music because it's assertive enough to keep your attention but simple enough that it can be listened to passively.
That or something downtempo like Twoism.

Music to wallow in anxiety, not deal with it
>>53111292
Hope you enjoy it. If you don't love lo-fi stuff feel free to skip ahead to We Shall All Be Healed, I know some people don't love the fuzzy sound of the first few records

is there any pop rock that, you know, doesn't suck?
Not sure what your taste is, but I have two albums for you. They're both rather engaging if you sit and listen to the different parts and instruments/sounds being used. Tons of hummable melodies in these albums too.
Paul McCartney - Ram
Mort Garson - Plantasia
They're my two favorite escape albums.

Eh. Maybe? I used to listen to Biffy Clyro's Puzzle a lot til I wore it out but then, that's more because I could wallow in it, I guess.
