thanks for the comment! I can't really imagine a sung vocal on your track, but maybe a rap. It doesn't feel like there are enough chord changes for a singer, I guess. The drums are a little slow even if that is what you're going for. I would try keeping the double time hi-hat that you have in some places consistent to keep the pace better. Also try to emphasize the downbeat more, and know how to feel the downbeat so it comes more naturally than just placing drums where you think they go. Listen to some of your favorite songs and see exactly where the drums are in relation to the beat and the rest of the track. You want to get to a point where you can feel the beat you're working on and anticipate what type of drum should hit where just by listening. Hope that's useful/makes sense. I need some sleep
