Really? That's not how I felt at all. The interplay between the guitars is what made their previous albums so interesting to me, there's almost none of that on No Cities to Love.
That being said, it has some of their strongest songwriting yet. Lots of very strong and catchy choruses.

really impressed with the first sleater kinney song. I saw them on letterman last week and it was fucking awful so I'm very pleasantly surprised its not all like that. I'm looking forward to picking it up tomorrow which is shaping up to be a big day for new releases.
