usually i just rec something from my chart or anything that i've been enjoying recently. also over time you have an idea of what someone might like just because some other anon who's a regular in chart threads likes similar records. for example some anon has slint and modest mouse on their chart, i'll likely rec them unwound's leaves turn inside you just because of this chart.

That Roro album is brilliant.
I used to love Catch 22, but after listening to them for a long time I started prefering Kalnoky's solo work.
I have not listened to enough soul/r&b, but you might like .anderson paak or august alsina.
