>I'm not Annie Annie Annie Annie Annie
Is this supposed to be a funny joke or something?
>>52331833
She's saying "any" you mong
ANNIE ARE YOU OKAY ARE YOU OKAY ARE YOU OKAY ANNIE
>>52331843
Ye but it's obviously a play on the pronunciation of her name and the word any. It's intended imo
>>52331855
YOU'VE BEEN HIT BY
YOU'VE BEEN STRUCK BY
She looks like Zero Suit Samus.

didn't even look at most of it but its all wrong
>>52332122
>marry me at 182
fucking dropped
>>52333139
I don't really rigidly use love on last.fm. I love The Party as well as most St. V songs.
>>52333151
Marry Me is her weakest album besides Love This Giant
>>52333164
Wrong. Also, even if you aren't smart enough to appreciate the album as a whole, Human Racing is objectively one of .her best songs
>>52333324
>Human Racing is objectively one of .her best songs
I am so fucking glad someone says feels the same
>>52333164
How is Love This Giant weak?
>>52333417
everyone accepts this as true anon
Anybody else think Huey newton is kinda blughhhh
And the closer on the Self titled is kinda unsatisfying
>>52334037
Huey Newton isn't my fav, but I enjoy it every time. Also the closer is one of my fav tracks on the album.
I still think 'I Prefer Your Love' should've been the closer on S/T.
>>52334097
>>52334074
Take out Huey Newton and have I Prefer your love as the closer and it would of been 10/10
Severed crossed fingers just seems out of place on the album and with the title name it could of been a pretty dark and twisted song just by looking at the title i remember going "Ohh that sounds pretty gruesome"
>>52334037
Huey Newton is meh, up until the guitar goes into OOOOOVERRRRDRIIIIIIIVE!!!!
How is Love This Giant?
I'm not huge into horn music and whatnot, so I'm not sure if I'll enjoy it.
>>52334152
YES!
The first half seems so disconnected from the second half when the guitar comes in and takes over also i wish she kept in the sin for sinners motherfuckers line in the song since she played it live and said that line and it works so well
>>52333324
>not smart enough to appreciate it
Nice strawman there, idiot.
Marry Me is her most naive sounding album and many of the songs sound downright disingenuous to what her natural sound is. That's not to say it's bad by any means, it's a great record but her subsequent solo albums are much more confident and natural sounding. I'd also argue that she's become a better songwriter over the years.
>>52334187
I like it a lot. I think most people hate it because it was a bit of a departure from her earlier work.
>>52332122
What about me?
Also did anyone listen to her radio show on that BBC station today? I'm waiting for it to be uploaded somewhere, or maybe the radio station archived it.
>>52334187
I enjoyed it much more than I was expecting. It's still not amazing and Byrne is too prominent on it but it's a pretty good album I think.
>tfw used to have way more annie scrobbles but deleted them all hence to not look like a creeper
>>52334097
>>52334129
I love SCF as the closer. I think it's one of the best closers on any of her albums. I Prefer Your Love might have made for a good one too, though I think it works where it is. The only song I don't really like on the album is Rattlesnake. It's the first song though so it doesn't like show up in the middle of the album and stop my enjoyment cold.

unfortunately they were all on a different computer.
I might still be able to get some back from my phone. I'll check.
I didn't know this existed though, thanks anon!
>>52335687
Its in the B Sides and Rarities Album
>>52335735
it's based on your last.fm account not your computer
>>52335761
Well that's weird because it's only giving me a list of 3 artists, all 3 of which were scrobbled on this computer a long time ago.
I deleted a shit load of scrobbles so I don't know where they all went.

>>52335899
Thank you!
>>52335933
I might be able to do it right now actually. Though my upload speed sucks. I didn't see it in the archive either.
Since s/t, I've lost all the urge to listen to her music tbh
>>52336052
I"ll still be here in the thread But thank you again!
After the shitty new album I don't even listen to her anymore.
