Been listening to Miami Nights 1984 - Turbulence and really digging it. Also the Drive soundtrack
I guess it categorises as nu-disco, but I'm still having a hard time differentiating genres and finding similar stuff. Anyone have anything similar/could point me in the direction of similar artists?

massive "clubber's club" in east-central london. it's like a giant underground maze. has three rooms all with different stuff in each night. room 2 is the best room. consistently books the best lineups in the country - http://www.fabriclondon.com/club/listings (the winter season, 05 dec onward, is just mad)
there's fabriclive on fridays which is like dnb, jungle, grime, dubstep, uk techno. and then just normal fabric on saturdays which is like techno and house. fabric live is better. it kinda represents more the cutting edge at the moment. they've also never really sold out, the club. they could book like some super star djs in or w/ever and sell out and make loads of money but they don't. they always keep it good
everyone is there to rave and like the vast, vast majority of people there are on drugs (like 90% of londoners in there certainly are at least). the rest is like confused looking tourists walking around (mostly americans) that have no idea what this kinda music is
the lights and sound systems are amazing and they keep improving them. the sound system is regarded as the best in the uk and is famous for not distorting no matter how loud it gets. room 1 has bass speakers built into the floor which vibrate u through ur feet. apparently when they first got it in, girls who had had a few too many pills would sit down on the floor and get themselves off haha
there's also a designated water bar for ravers which is nice
but yeah, it's like a /bleep/ paradise
