Alright, /mu/ - Music
I am an an assassin for a secret agency that controls and manipulates the US culture output.
The agency has decided that the 4 targets in the attached picture are musical geniuses and have a high probability of releasing a groundbreaking work of art at the same time in the near future that will be of great importance to USA culture and will be studied at universities and regarded as a part of the western canon.
Usually, there aren't more than 2 artistic geniuses with a chance of creating a great work at the same time, and our agency usually disposes of one to have better control over the arts.
Now i have to dispose of 3 people, leaving only one musical genius. You choose which one to keep.

Lopatin makes good music but hes not as revolutionary as people make him out to be . He like so many others will be defined as an example of how much influence Boards of canada had on electronic music.
James Ferraro man that guy has made some good stuff but he is a talentless hack.

Fuck, that's hard. Those are exactly my 4 favorite artists.
They're all amazing, but I feel like Ariel & John are too set in their own genre and style to put out something radical, while Ferraro is super hit or miss. If he was off this hip-hop thing he's been on with his past few releases I'd probably say Ferraro, but ultimately I feel like Lopatin shows the most promise with his past few LPs.
So, save Lopatin. But instead of assassinating the rest just fake their deaths and deport them to Argentina or something

Look, guys, I know I'll get a lot of hate for this but fuck it I'm dead from the inside anyway.
Save Maus. He's a young man with a bright future and his music is absolutely outta this world. His picture, 20/10. He gives you an eerie feeling of relatedness. His music has a slight vaporwave feel to it, alongside a touch of Left-Winged Yoghurt Inn's Outside the Ship Over the Sky and some of Life Touch's Pre-Military, as well as a bit of North's White Straight Fantasy and The Black Dot's Mice. The dude is a genius. He encompasses every big thing into one, single shit and yet comes up with an original, amazing and nostalgic music that makes you wanna cry. And his lyrics, they are simply gold. If there will ever be a genre called Experimental Lyricism, he will be considered the pioneer of it.
But, to be fair, I don't see the appeal of Lopatin. Yeah, he's a great artist and all. His fanbase isn't half bad and his picture isn't neither. He's a good and funny guy, but I don't see the appeal in his music. All I see is some try hard material ripped off some popular artists with a rare bit of good music in between. He's good, but I still don't think he deserves it.
As for Pink, she's out. I hate her music. She's just all that's wrong with the music community. Popular, dumb, and pretty looking. All that one needs for a disaster.
As for Ferraro, no. Just, no. He may've been relevant, but he no longer is any more. All I see is an aging old man trying to rap into a mic with some beats made by a guy on crystal meth. He is no longer great any more; he's a shadow of his former self.
