That song, as well as "Come as You Are" by Nirvana and "Nightswimming" by R.E.M remind me of my older brother since he used to listen to them all the time when my parents were getting divorced and the family was falling apart, he was pretty spergy as a kid and kind of beta then he got angry and hostile as fuck and got in fights etc. After my dad moved out he would go out drinking with him and return home late at night and argue with my mother and bully my sister and me. He punched a hole in his bedroom wall one time and my mother decided he had to leave. The morning she threw him out he came into the living room crying where I was playing with a toy car I'd build (knext or whatever it's called) and he said he'd always be there for me etc but I didn't understand, then my mother drove him to where my dad lived and told him to get out and he screamed through the window as we drove away. I didn't see him for years and then in my late teens we met up and I didn't feel anything in common with him so things sorta drifted apart.
