They are arguably close together as genres. I don't really like genres in general, they're only really useful for finding other artists that also have a similar sound. Though these three may not be extremely close, they're close enough imo.
Also, it makes for a bigger thread. I wouldn't mind people posting about stuff from all of these genres and subgenres, as long as they are close enough.
It's just not a big deal to me.

Look up for Pop Ambient series. It's pretty much run by the same gang in Cologne. A good starting point to spot many others in the genre.
