>go to sleep
>dream
>in the dream, hear the perfect ambience of everything at once in a monotone symphony of voices
>it's not loud, and it's not harsh, it is calm and comforting like a warm blanket and a cool breeze at the same time
>it is the sound of freefalling horizontally while standing perfectly still
>there is pitch and variation, but at the same time there is not
>it is completely electronic but just as alive as a thousand people
>it goes on forever, but only lasts a moment
>wake up
>realize you will never hear such perfect ambient sound in waking life

I wish I could go into a coma so I could forever hear such angelic sound....but I cannot at will, so I'm hoping that maybe I can find the next best thing here in the waking world.

Can any /mu/tants recommend me some good dreamlike ambient music?

I had a really similar experience a few weeks ago. Although instead of being vocal, it was sort of this incredibly warm drone. It was simutaniously incredibly rough and jagged but smooth and pleasant at the same time. The chords it played flowed so seamlessly into it each other that it sounded like a single unchanging sound. I've never been able to replicate it or find something like it, but the closest I could find to the drone itself is this:

but it's still not very accurate.

But based off of your description, I'm guessing yours was something like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FbVrfuanLSQ

Makes me think of snow. Still a really comfy song.

Brilliant album. The Xerrox series isn't overlooked, but it's not appreciated enough on /mu/. Still waiting patiently for volume 3...
