Good.
you forgot skramz.
>>traditional European folk
What kind of genre is that
>>50759082
>implying there isn't a horde of skinnyfat neckbeards that constantly suck skramz and midwestern emo revival's dick on /mu/
>>50759111
Pagan folk, Morris dancing, the list goes on..
>>50758850
You're supposed to answer with a question faggot
>>50759145
No YOU are, the OP asks the question, faggot
>>50759129
> Morris dancing
Let's add Schuhplattler to the list too
>>50759186
>Schuhplattler
Is that different to what ze Germans do in their Leiderhoussen?

It's what happens when Germans congregate

Holy shit, my father knows how to dance that. And better than them, apparently.
>>50759385
>Implying
>>50759385
it actually gets a good to great amount of replies whenever a thread is made, but they're almost never made
it's not an obscure genre or something
>>50759385
all of the avant teens flock to those threads. if we banned tuuvan throat singing, EAI and serialism we'd actually lose a lot of underage posters.
>>50759428
Or ban rap and get rid of the other 99% of underage posters.
>>50759406
Is your daddy German?
>>50759436
>this is what people actually believe
great way to bring up rap in this thread, thanks mr. rockist.
>>50759428
This too. I remember loving it when I was 16-17. I enjoy it still, but I'm not a retard about it.
>>50759440
Scandinavian. Which is why it's weirder.

>considering censorship as a means to a better board
@50759436
They can't even post, Rules say people under 18 can't post.
>>50759455
But he's right. You've only proven to be one of those underage posters with that reaction.
"Mr. Rockist", what the fuck is wrong with you?
>>50759466
So you agree we should let /pol/ parade itself around here, right? Because no censorship.
>Inb4 "it's different"
>>50759455
>rockist
There's that word again I don't think you know it means.
>>50759466
i wouldn't consider it at all, i enjoy discussing all types of music. i'm just saying that if you actually did censor it, there would be less underage posting.

>>50759462
Looks like someone is taking your place
>>50759477
Not like we missed you or anything.
>>50759477
If its music related, does it matter what pol posts? People from pol dont make shit threads like these, where nothing gets accomplished
>>50759477
>So you agree we should let /pol/ parade itself around here, right? Because no censorship.
shh, you're gonna wake them.
>>50759496
Called it early.
>IT'S DIFFARENT
>>50759505
I.. guess ?.
>>50759502
Q's already posting in the thread, so...
>>50758850
Name 3 albums with Pitchfork scores above 8/10 for any of those.
No, didn't think so, fuck off.
Rarely ever do harsh noise threads get lots of replies. Noise rock threads usually get a lot, but it usually gets filled with punk that has been mislabeled as noise rock or just becomes a circle jerk about Arab on Radar or Brainbombs.

I'm surprised theremin-core thread is still up.
It's lasted longer than I ever could have dreamt

Sorry, this thread is only for real genres.
>>50759762
What do you mean?
>>50759807
Harsh noise has a whole community going on on /mu/.
https://archive.rebeccablacktech.com/mu/?task=search2&ghost=yes&search_text=&search_subject=noise
>>50759836
Huh. I guess you're right. I suppose I just need to be on at the right time.
>>50759784
It doesn't matter whether or not the genre exists. The only thing that matters is whether or not people think it exists.
>>50758850
>>EAI/turntable/tape/no input-mixing/prepared guitar/piano
Theres an active musique concrete argument going on right now
>traditional European folk
I'm always up for discussing that.
>>afro beat/JuJu/Semba/other African genres
The massive amounts of white guilt ingrained into every /mu/ poster will compel them to respond
Why do you think there's so many Hip-Hop threads every day?
rap
whatever genre this belongs to

>garage rock
>>50760657
Same, but 90% of /mu/ is american and they don't seem to be interested in this kind of music at all. I think that you'd get more responses on /int/ than here.
>>50760808
start one then
>>50759111
Traditional European folk is my jam. There's lots and lots of different sounds since it's such a broad category, but it's worth checking out, there's something for everybody. First link is one of the most criminally underrated bands of all time, open-minded post-rock fans should appreciate them.

I tend to prefer the more melancholic side that pagan folk artists take so I'm not too familiar with this stuff, it's nice too though.
