I listened to it for the first time yesterday too.
All I gotta day is that I liked the beginning and end of the album, I might need to listen to the middle more to get into it. I wouldn't mind some reccommendations based on this.

They're pretty genre schizophrenic so to say. They did start out a bit poppier, though.
Idol is dead is probably the most fun and bizarre album. Then there's the self titled EP from the BiSkaidan collab. Might be pretty hard to stomach at first but well worth it.
They're not really similar to Midori and I don't know if I'd call them bizarre, but you might like Mutyumu.
