They're built like tanks. Although I've only had them for a year or so, been happy with them so far. I guess only time will really tell how durable the motor is but I have faith in them. It's a good deal for what he's asking, I bough mine new since people are selling the 1210's for ridiculous prices around here (about €1200-1500) I figured I'd rather have a pair of new decks than some mangy old 1210's for the same price.

I live in Helsinki, there's this forum for clubbing shit with a for sale/wanted board and every time someone puts up 1210's for sale there they disappear within hours regardless of how silly the asking price. After lurking there for a while I gave up on trying to cop a pair so STR-150's it was for me.

I can get a pair of Numark TT-1520s plus a mixer for £100 which seems like a steal, not much online about whether they're decent decks though.

numark decks are generally shite. my friend had the 1520s for a while, the torque is bad (so it starts and stops slowly which you do not want) and the pitch fader is far too sensitive
